"David Duchovny", Bree Sharp's clever ode to The X-Files' star, may be her hook, but it's the rest of her intelligent, witty, sultry, and dramatic music that will keep you coming back for more. Songs like the Russ Meyer-inspired "Faster, Faster" showcase her flair for both lyricism and drama. The ironic and pointed "America" addresses our media-driven culture. Tracks like "Walk Away" and "Smitten" are achingly true to life.

Her CD, A Cheap And Evil Girl, is one of the few CD's I own that I can listen to straight through without skipping even one song.
