| ink feather Have You Seen This Girl? Bree Sharp
John D. Spalding
Maxim Magazine
March, 2000

  Real name: Bree Sharp

Better known as: The pretty face with the pretty voice that pleads, "David Duchovny, why won’t you love me?"

Her story: As if alien-stalker Duchovny weren’t lucky enough — he spends the day with Gillian Anderson, the night with Téa Leoni, and has a Q&A in Maxim this month — he also has a gorgeous woman singing his praises on pop radio. "He just filled a void for me," says the 24-year-old songstress. "When I started watching The X-Files, there was no one in my life at the time. I had all this pent-up sexual energy, and there he was." Oh, to be on TV. Bree views music as more than just a creative outlet: "It lets me express my deepest fantasies — wild and dangerous things I might not do in real life." So she isn’t, as her album suggests, A Cheap and Evil Girl? "I can’t even ride a motorcycle, though I do really well on the back of one. There’s plenty of me revealed in those songs, so pay attention." We promise — especially if we get front-row seats on your tour.
